Quite an odd step here, but Google is getting into the soft drink business, and the good news is for us Tech heads - it will actually make us smarter and less thirsty!!! Those guys rock.

Well, Gmail is up to 2 gigabytes of storage (after a nifty April fool’s joke about going unlimited) Very, very cool! Also added: new fonts, colors, etc. If you need a gmail invite, click here to go to our forums!

Goolge plans to double Gmail capacity!

Just minutes ago, I logged into my Gmail account noticing that my email space had risen to 1150mb. At first I didn’t think anything of it, because we’ve seen weird things happen to our space before.

But just as I logged out, I realized what day it was – April, 1^st 2005! Gmail’s one year anniversary!

With further investigation, I find that Google plans to offer a bottom-less cup of storage with its Gmail Web-based e-mail service, dramatically raising the bar for rivals in the sharply competitive business for the second time in a year.
